Memo: Late Maturation Update

Good afternoon soccer families,

 Effective Outdoor 2025, The Late Maturation process has been updated as follows:

1. All late maturation requests will still come directly into SYSI through the late maturation request form:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KRGJHLD  
2. Once a late maturation request has been approved by SYSI the player is eligible to play in all SYSI League and SYSI/Zone Tournaments.
3. If teams are wanting to go to tournaments outside SYSI/Zone Tournaments, then they will need to contact the tournament coordinators to get approval for the overage player.
4. Any submissions in the indoor season will carryover and are approved for the following outdoor season. Submissions from the previous year will need to be resubmitted to SYSI at the start of each indoor season.
5. SSA will only need to approve late maturation requests in the case of PSL and Provincials which are sanctioned by SSA or if there are any extreme circumstances.
