Inclement Weather Guidelines
U11-U19 Youth Games:
Unless otherwise determined by SYSI, all youth U11-U19 games are on as scheduled and shall be up to referee discretion. Teams are to arrive at their scheduled game or risk forfeit fines.
U5-U9 Mini Games & Practices:
Mini U5-U9 games and ALL practices are up to coach and/or zone technical director discretion and any cancellations shall be coordinated between the teams. SYSI does not reschedule U5-U9 games, however teams may do so on an alternate field/date.
City of Saskatoon Inclement Weather and Field Usage Guidelines:
The onus is on the teams and referee (where present) to assess playability, when deciding to use a field after or during rain:
(1) If there is standing water, i.e., puddles of water on the field -- do not use the field, and/or
(2) If water squishes under foot when you walk on the turf -- do not use the field.
